2. What is a Certified Translation?
The Certified Translation is considered a legal public-faith document. This means that such translation has the same value as the original document [in foreign language] and produces effects at public agencies around all the national territory, and can be used even for legal purposes. This is the translation exclusively done by a Public Certified Translator [a.k.a. Sworn Translator], who was qualified by the Registry of Commerce of the corresponding State, and delivered in official paper with his/her stamp and signature.

As regards quality, both free translation and certified translation are equivalent and, at ADM Translations, are many times made by the same translator.
